Each of these pairs are made of one black and red number each.

Pockets of the Roulette wheel are numbered from 1 through 36. They alternate between the red and the black. The pocket of roulette wheel is numbered from 1 through 36. One green pocket is numbered as zero. In American roulette there will be two green pockets with a single zero and another with double zero. In European wheel you will find only one green pocket.
