Toenail Fungus Treatment - Stop Toe Fungus in Its Tracks and Reclaim Your Toes

There's no doubt that toenail fungus has to be one of the most unsightly and unwanted fungus infections you can get. It discolors, hardens and thickens your nail. Not very attractive is it? Not more than 2 drops of oregano essential oil to every teaspoon of olive oil. It can take several weeks to get rid of a fungus infection but do not use this treatment for more than 3 weeks. Oregano essential oil has natural antiseptic and antibacterial agents.

A cause of many ailments in people can be due to a poor diet. It is very important that you are eating the right foods when battling toenail fungus. Eat plenty of yogurt and kefir as they are natural probiotics and contain good bacteria to help you fight your toenail infection.

There are other oils you can use like almond oil but it can be quite cumbersome and time consuming to apply all the different oils that can help you. Although worth it if you can't afford anything else.

There are products on the market that use a combination of these oils and other ingredients to help put together some of the most powerful solutions for getting rid of toenail fungus.

When you have gotten rid of your fungus infection and even when you are treating it, it would be a good idea to note some of these tips.

1 - dry your feet - do not wear damp socks.
2 - do not share linen like towels with other people who are affected
3 - wash your feet after you visit public areas like pools and gym locker rooms.
4 - trim your nails and do not use nail polish
