Each trade show will be a different experience and you will usually not have the same size space at each one. You have to do research before hand to find out what spaces are available and the size of the area you will have for your exhibit. There are different types of booth spaces available at trade shows.

Some shows have table top exhibits that are a six or eight foot wide space that comes with a table supplied by the show organizer. Usually you can get a three to five foot tall display to sit on the table. There are some trade shows that only offer tabletop spaces so make sure you check ahead of time to determine what spaces are available.

The most common exhibit spaces are back wall and inline areas that are usually a ten foot by ten foot space. About two thirds of all trade shows exhibits are this size. There are usually bigger spaces that are ten by twenty or thirty foot spaces available too. Most back wall spaces are limited to 8 foot high. These are all things to consider when you are designing your trade show exhibit.

There are a variety of exhibit structures that you can use in your exhibit space. One of the most popular displays is the portable ones. They are designed to be lightweight and can either be carried or rolled into the trade show. The portable displays work well in small spaces. There are different types of portable displays including banner stands, pop-ups and panel displays.

Some companies use modular exhibits that are made in pieces that can be integrated together to create a tailored exhibit. These types of displays are stronger and more sophisticated than portable displays. These types of exhibits can be shipped in crates. Some of the common types include truss systems and panel systems. Custom exhibits are made to the exact specifications of the exhibitor and can be made out of a variety of materials including metal, wood and Plexiglas.

The trends in trade show exhibits seem to be leaning toward larger spaces or spaces that are less crowded. The use of graphics that focus on new products are on the increase. There has also been an increase in the use of video and computer demonstrations. Trade show exhibits are also becoming more versatile and include changeable exhibits to use in many different shows.

There is also been an increase in the number of exhibits that are now including meeting spaces or theater style demonstration areas. Exhibits in general are becoming larger, more high tech and upscale. Most of all companies are providing a simple message by using enhanced graphics with simple tag lines.

Exhibitors are also using lightweight custom hybrid exhibits. These exhibits are made of lighter material and flexible. These types of exhibits decrease the cost of shipping and storage requirements. This also allows the exhibitors to switch out graphics and update their message from trade show to trade show. No matter what your products or services are you can find the perfect display solutions that will get your message noticed when you are exhibiting at a trade show.
