Essential oils have many uses. These oils are found in many aromatherapy products, perfumes, creams, lotions, and bath products. These oils promote mental health along with physical health. Along with these added benefits, the aroma is splendid. Usually only a few drops are needed.

Flowers and plants contain essential oils. To create these oils, specialty equipment is used. There are numerous ways of extracting this oil. Here are some of the ways:

In the distillation of steam process, plants are sat in a still. Within the lower chamber, steam is expelled and sent through entire plant where vaporization of plant oils takes place. The combination of oil and steam enters into a condenser. After this, the essential oils are then extracted into a separator. There are some compounds which are aromatic that are left over. Hydrosols, which Aroma therapists use, are used in moisturizers and make up.

Another method in essential oils is expression. In this process, the skin, flesh and seeds are extracted.

By using cold pressing, the fruit oils are removed. The fruit is rolled between protuberances and the peels are penetrated. The juices are then squeezed which causes extraction of the essential oils. Once the juice is extracted, it is ran through a centrifuge where the juice and essential oils are separated.

In enfleurage, blossoms from flowers are laid on warm veggie flats. The flowers then absorb the oil from the flowers. The essential oil is then separated from the fat. This is the most expensive method.

The process of using solvents is the least popular because it entails using chemicals made by man. In this process, the plant is dissolved in a solvent and the oil is then extracted from the essential oil. The oils are known as absolutes.

In the carbon dioxide extraction method, high pressure is used. By using high pressure, the gas turns into a liquid and also acts like a solvent. The solvent that is created then vaporizes into an essential oil. This is used in creating expensive essential oils. This is an expensive process.

By figuring out what your specific needs are, you can figure out which essential oil is best for you. There are many benefits of using essential oils. Some of these benefits are helping your digestive system, mental function, pain reliever, relaxation, antifungal and antibacterial, repelling insects, helping the respiratory system, healthy skin, healthier hair and relieving tension.

It takes many plants to create essential oils as plants are small in size. The method in which the oil is created can affect the quality of the oil.

Essential oils are extremely beneficial and are rapidly growing in popularity. People from all over the world are enjoying the benefits of investing in quality made essential oils. In the long run, essential oils are curing many problems that medicine isn't capable of conquering. Mother nature intended for it to be this way. Manmade chemicals cause irreversible damage and essential oils aid in healthful living without all of the added chemicals which turn into toxins.
