2. Woody Perennials
Once I walked through a woody perennial. Indeed I had been waiting for such a pleasure for a long time. Being away from a fast and furious world which had no time to care for others was really a fantastic experience. There I got the opportunity to forget all the tensions which I had been carrying for all the time.

Yes…It was a place with green plants and trees, colorful flowers and lusty green everywhere. I found many trees dancing to the tunes scored by the zephyr of the woody forest. When we spent our time in this world we rarely get time to watch something. When I slowly moved around the trees, I felt a real thrill in watching all the trees and bushes there around. For the first time in my life I felt like watching precious things patiently. I never felt that I had this quality of admiration in me .I realized a new world there. I felt as if those trees were inviting me to witness a world of Joy and silence. Indeed there was a complete happiness in watching the bluebells, many other trees, flowers, small insects which creep here and there, tiny plants and seasonal plants all in one place. It left behind harmony which cannot be found in this world.

This exotic experience did not end up with mere watching, for I heard melodies from the trees, plants and perennials. Yes… it is sweeter than the most of the melodies I had ever heard. The sounds of these woody perennials and the mesmerizing scenery of the forest with bluebells never failed to score a kind of symphony in my heart.

These forests spoke with me. It kindled my heart. It put words in my mouths which took shape as poems and songs. It never happened. I returned home after spending a whole afternoon in a woody perennial forest. I found a dry home. There was a computer in my home with all modern equipments with which I can talk to anybody in this world. I had everything in my life but I missed something after that afternoon. I asked many question within myself and started to do things as usually. But I could not. I felt all alone even with my family. I missed the color which I have witnessed in the forest. I missed the buzzing sounds of the bushes. I missed the sweet melodies orchestrated by the bluebells of the woody forests.

Next day I walked towards a nursery. I found many saplings there. I selected many saplings and perennials. I came home. I believed I got a new world around me with all the ingredients of a happy life. Are you still missing out this life? Walk to the nearby nursery. Don’t miss it.
