So many people today are realizing that financial freedom can be attained through online business. They are rejecting the status quo of looking for employment in a company, and turning toward the internet as the economy grows colder. This growing sentiment is not without good reason:

In 2000, there were 350 million people worldwide surfing the web. Today, that number has grown to 1.7 billion people, a 500% increase, and it continues to grow (150% in the U.S. alone!). This GIANT and growing market is a prime environment to do business, especially for the lay person who just wants supplemental passive income. The potential, however, is astronomical!

2. It doesn't take much capital to start an online business.
This is especially good for the many Americans who have lost their jobs in the recent economic bust. Consider opening a store in your neighborhood, and you can expect to pony up at least $20,000 in loans made to you (that is, if you qualify!). Not to mention other start up costs such as product, furnishings, utilities, labor, etc.. With an online business, the overhead is slim to none, with the best information available from willing professionals not costing more than $100. This fact alone should draw crowds!

3. There's nothing quite like working from home.
This statement says it all! Some entrepreneuers choose to toss their neckties in favor of...pajamas! In all seriousness, the 8+ hours you spend at your job plus the grueling 3 hour round-trip commute can be cast to the wind. This means more time with your family, recreation, creative pursuits...sky's the limit.

4. You can attain your freedom.
This point relates to the previous statement. Many people are quickly realizing that working for someone else, that is, sacrificing your sacred time, forfeiting your children's precious time with their parents, and so on, is not an even trade-off, even if it provides a living. If you added up all the time that your office takes from you and put it in the context of your whole life, you may realize that it's not worth it. No one has ever been on their death bed wishing they had spent more time at the office!

5. You can't get rich working for someone else.
It can be done. It has been done. But for so very few people. The chances are so very slim that it's almost pointless to make the effort. And many of the top tier positions are grandfathered in, anyway. However, with a little dedication, some discipline, and some courage, you can become rich with your online business! 6. You can work at your leisure.
I've heard of multi-millionaire internet entrepreneuers who seldom spend more than 3 hours a day working on their business (compare that with the 8 or more you spend now!). That's not to assume one should seek the lazy path, since hard work is still a virtue, even with online business. But the point is that your work schedule is limited or opened at YOUR will, not the will of your boss.
