The Essentials on How to Burn Fat Effectively During Exercise

Often times we are bombarded with a wide variety of products that are available in the market today that claim to have unlock the secrets on how to burn fat, but we also often times forget that our bodies are already sufficient enough and are capable of burning those fats without any help from those synthetic fat burning products which may even cause side effects that are terrible. Today you will be exposed to basic physiology on how our bodies work in controlling energy and oxygen levels with reference to burning fat as it goes into our body system.

TIMING IS CRUCIAL

The digestive system of our body works like a vacuum cleaner, whenever we take in food, and the linings of our small intestine suck in the nutrients which are essential for our day to day survival. These nutrients are taken out from the small intestine and are absorbed into the blood stream where it will be distributed to the different parts of the body as energy thru the usage of glucose.

The blood glucose level in our blood spikes after ingestion of a meal, this means that there is an oversupply of energy in the body, the rule of the thumb is, if the blood glucose supply is higher than the body's metabolic needs, the body converts the extra glucose in the blood into stored energy known as fat.

Timing is a particularly crucial element in burning fat considering the data above. We should be aware that it is better to eat high-protein low-fat foods before rather than after an exercise since eating before an exercise assures the body of an ample supply of energy.

Eating at least 90 minutes before a planned exercise ensures the body of a generous amount of glucose that the body can use during stress thus it increases stamina and strength. An intake of less than the time required will defeat its purpose since the blood supply is heavily concentrated in the digestive area during that period of time and it may eventually cause dizziness and weakness during your workout because of an inadequate supply of glucose in the blood.

EFFECTIVE BREATHING WORKS

Breathing is a normal autonomic response of our body. When we inhale, oxygen rushes into our lungs, and carbon dioxide leaves as we exhale. During exercise, the body uses glucose to elicit movement, and as a result, the by product of energy consumed by our body is carbon dioxide.

Breathing is an important factor to burn fat that is often times taken for granted during workouts. Breathing thru the mouth is more effective than nasal breathing, in fact when the body is deprived of oxygen; the typical response of the body would be weakness and fatigue, thus decreasing your performance.

In hospitals, mothers are encouraged to breath in with their mouths using a pursed lip technique since this helps in the exhalation of carbon dioxide helping the mother conserve energy during the labor process. Thus, the most important thing here to remember is to breathe effectively during energy consuming processes to ensure the body of a sufficient supply of oxygen enabling us to work harder and longer.

Gaining knowledge on how our bodies' works helps in increasing our chances of success in achieving our desired body weight. Eating at the right time and breathing effectively should no longer be taken for granted during our workouts and we should always remember that in order to answer the question of how to burn fat, we should first look back to what is essential and basic in the normal physiology of how the body system works.
