When I am in a room with online casino gamblers, there are two topics of conversations that dominate the chat. These are in regards to online casinos, namely withdrawals and honesty. These two topics are discussed in relation not to the general industry as a whole but to particular casino they are engaged with at the time. The conversations slant toward the topic of Casino cheating or conspiracy more often than not. It is an emotional issue. Getting to a resolution of honesty issues would place the whole industry on a solid moral foundation. Proving that a particular casino is cheating or not cheating would be a step in the right direction. But to nail the coffin shut on a particular casino or the entire industry, would be needed. So what would this system look like? How would it work?

Admittedly it doesn’t feel good when you loose at a slot machine, video slot or table games. Sometimes, if you are not careful, you might have wagered money that was not in your entertainment budget. It could happen to the best of us. So there is a tendency to blame the loss on someone else other than ones self. This adds to the talk of casinos “robbing me”. I would venture to say that a good portion of the chatter about dishonest casinos is based on this human denial phenomenon. But it is hard to prove one way or the other. Therefore the chat goes on and on.

What would be required to prove honesty, not on one casino and one round of play but a system that would demonstrate in an on going basis, fair play. It would have to be a monitoring system that would give the players simple proof when they have doubts over any play at any time with any player. It would necessarily have to have graphs and data on sections of play such as one player or bets over a certain time period of play. Then this info would need to be posted by a third party over participating casinos in a simple, easy to read format. It would have to be presented in layman’s terms where a nontechnical person could understand the data. I have seen tables and numbers that are so complicated only an internet neurologist could read it. This would basically be too much for a normal online player to understand.

I feel it would only take one or two casinos joining and presenting the play data understandably. This would not change the state of the industry to a large extent. but a proven, honest casino would be popular. Once it was set up it is my belief that players would frequent this casino more often than others. In time other casinos would see this and join the association. Like a snow ball rolling down the hill it would grow on its own. Little by little the casinos that do not implement this system would be ostracized. In the end the entire industry would be set up with the third party tracking system.

There is good profit in a well run online casino that has fair slot machine games and roulette. If the casino has a good following there is absolutely no reason why cheating would be needed. Online gambling have less overhead than Brick and Mortar (B&M) casinos. Running a white hat casino (one that is run honestly) is the best way to a profitable bottom line.
