Rewards and treats for your dog do not end in giving him dog biscuits and toys. Giving your dog a different reward through dog water bowls with features would also be interesting enough. If you are going to a pet store, you may want to consider looking at the different kinds and features of dog water bowls available. Some pet owners tend to just buy plain and simple dog water bowls since they think it is a mere container of water. But every pet owner should understand that a water bowl plays a role on the health and being of a dog. It is where you put your dog’s water that he would eventually drink.

Below are some options you might consider when choosing a dog water bowl with features for your pet.

Non-skid dog water bowl. One of the common problems that could affect the appetite of your dog during mealtime is when the bowl moves while eating; the same goes for water bowls. It is recommended to use non-skid dog water bowls so it would stay in place.

Fountain Feature. Some dog water bowls available in the market today has a fountain feature already. It boasts a filtration system that could assure that you dog would drink clean water only. It sets out dirt and other residues. Also, it has its own reservoir so you do not have to fill the bowl too often.

Double-diner features. Apparently, this kind has two bowls—for meals and water. This saves space, and could be interesting and convenient for your dog.

Stainless Steel Bowls. If you are conscious on the durability of your dog’s water bowl, buying stainless steel bowl could be a practical option. Stainless steel dog water bowls are proven to last longer than their plastic counterparts. This choice is very economical.

Elevated Water Bowls. Elevated water bowls are introduced in the market for pet owners who want a water bowl that could be adjusted according to the height of their dog. This could also be a practical item as you can just adjust the elevation if your puppy has grown into a large dog.

These are just some of the known features of water bowls and the prices vary according to the features. There are many other dog bowls with distinct features. In choosing the one for your pet, do not just go for the aesthetic value of the item. Functionality is still one of the top considerations that you should employ before buying. Dog water bowls are not mere container of your pet’s water; this is a part of their everyday lives, so better choose something that would work well.

If you want to save time, you can just check online sites offering pet items and accessories including dog water bowl. In checking them online, you would save time and effort in comparing the features and prices of retailers and manufacturers. However, always consider checking the previous clients’ feedbacks on their products.
