It is clear that you are desperate to get rid of those unsightly bulges! If you are saying “Help me, please! How can I lose fat?” it is clear that you are desperately looking for help. You are sick and tires of all those unwanted pounds making your life hell. Now you need a good plan to get rid of them for good.

Well, the answer to your problem is actually very easy. Unfortunately it may not be the answer you really want because it is not “magic” or a “pill” you can take and the fat simply all melts away! There is unfortunately only one answer to “how can I lose fat” and it is follow a good, healthy and balanced, calorie controlled diet and do moderate exercise.

That’s it, that is what you have to do to get rid of those unwanted pounds. No magic, now pills only perseverance. But I can promise you, the end result will be well worth the trouble!

Of course, now you want to know what this healthy balanced diet is I am speaking of. I cannot blame you because there are so many fad diets out there. How are any of us supposed to know what a good diet is and which one is a fad diet? You have to be able to distinguish as a fad diet will only make your problem even bigger in the end.

A good, healthy, balanced calorie controlled diet will have the following characteristics:

* You will be able to eat a wide variety of foods
* You will be able to eat more than three meals a day
* You will be able to eat a variety of vegetables
* The diet will be low fat, but not all fat will be excluded
* There has to be some low fat or fat free dairy product in the diet
* You are allowed to do exercises while you are on the diet

The next step is to look at moderate exercise:

What kind of exercise you do is not really important, as long as you increase your heart rate for at least 30 minutes it will help to speed up the weight loss. So, the best is to look for a kind of exercise you enjoy and do it at least three to four times a day. It is, of course, better if you try and do a little every day.

There is something else though, if you are really desperately saying “how can I lose fat?” and that is to do some resistance training. Building muscle is a very good way to increase your metabolism and turn your body into a fat burning furnace.

What you have to keep in mind here is, when you start building muscle it may slow down the amount of pounds you are losing. The reason for this is that muscles way more than fat and if you are replacing fat with muscle you are not losing so many “pounds” but you are losing fat and that is your goal. A lean body is what you want and muscles will give it to you.

Follow these guidelines and you will never have to wonder about how can I lose fat again.
