New Rides Galore For UK Theme Parks In 2006

New roller coasters, new exciting rides and a whole lot of fun : 2006 is shaping up to be quite a season for theme parks across the UK. While the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ride may be for those who enjoy life at a slightly slower pace, the new “Stealth” ride at Thorpe Park is certainly not for the faint-hearted! Traveling to dizzying heights of 205ft the ride accelerates from 0-80mph in 2.3 seconds and hits a massive top speed of 128kph – which beats the Alton Towers ride “Rita : Queen of Speed” by a full 28kph!
