5000 kilometer in 7 days, this ride is really fast. However, with a motorbike's 50 to 80 miles per hour average speed, granted that you are to ride a properly tuned bike, this challenge can be done. Missing a beat is never an option to a rider. Given the freedom to explore and dominate the road, everyday rain, hail or shine is no condition to riding. With that, beating the 5000 km in 7 days challenge will be no problem. Have all the vital fluids of your bike checked and its engine tuned and you are off to experience the ride of a lifetime.

There are a number of options that you can take when it comes to beating the challenge. You either carry your own bike or rent a bike from a pickup service. When you decide to carry your own bike, you need to do some thorough preparation. You have to do all the prep work, which include tune-ups, system check, alignment check, and fluid checks. You need to make sure that you go with a new belt to minimize the risk of engine problems while hitting the road. Since you have a limited cargo space, consider fitting an emergency repair kit, gps and cellular phone on your just in case.

Deciding on a motorbike rental is not only convenient. It also relieves you from all the troubles of touring of touring preparations. Pickup service is sometimes arranged from the airport or at any point that is convenient to your part. All the tools and basic spare parts such as water hose, v-belt, and jack are also included. Some rental services provide a road atlas and a comprehensive advice and insider tips for your planned trip or about local attractions. Rental service is counter per calendar day. Special requests such as the inclusion of basic kitchen equipment and other camping essentials may be accommodated. For long-term rentals, 7 to 30 days, some rental companies may even offer a touring plan free of charge. A comprehensive warranty on the bike may apply depending on the rental package that you avail.

Beating the challenge will never be possible when you are not physically and mentally prepared. Your physical and mental condition need to be on top condition since riding can be physically and mentally exhausting. Lack of mental preparation may result to lack of energy after riding for a few days. It may even cause you to daydream and wander off to some thoughts while riding, which could be dangerous. When you want to last seven days, you need to remain alert to keep on the safe side of the road. Riding is more demanding than driving a car. It demands more physical input and reaction to effectively command your bike on the road. This explains why experienced riders often recommend going on a group motorcycle touring. Riding in groups ensures that each participant is kept safe and focused on the road.

Local as well as foreign riders must be 21 years of age or must have a current motorcycle license and a complete document allowing him to tour the open streets of the country to legally participate on a motorcycle tour. He needs to have a complete riding safety gear and a duly registered motorbike to roll. A 5000-km motorcycle ride in 7 days challenge is serious business. Serious preparations on both man and machine are crucial in successfully and safely doing just that.
