Dangers Of The Ouija Board

The introduction of reality television programmes which focus on paranormal phenomena has seen the revival of interest in the Ouija Board. These boards are not new and have been around since the 1890’s. In the first instance the planchette was sold on its own. In the 1920’s a William Flud designed and patented a ‘talking board’ he named Ouija. These boards flourished from the 1920’s to the 1960’s,with a revival beginning in the later 1990’s

How do they work? The idea is that two or more people place a finger onto the planchette. There are many different types on the market, but the basic principle remains the same. The fingers lie loosely on the object to give it freedom to move, the participants ask the board a series of questions and in theory the planchette then floats across the board and slowly answers each question, by painstakingly moving from letter to letter or to the numbers giving answers to the questions

Do they really work? Absolutely. How? By focusing our attention onto one small area, we are giving that space energy. This power does one of two things. It opens up a space between here and the afterlife and it gives power to entities and spirit people to be able to communicate with us. Spirit people don’t need this power, but less desirable entities do. A very frightening aspect of this is that we are giving anyone the opportunity to communicate with us, including some very undesirable entities. This open invitation is equivalent to throwing open the front door of your house and inviting anyone in or freely advertising a party on one of the social network sites. Unless you were hoping to invite trouble into your home you wouldn’t do it. So why do it with a board? It is a recipe for disaster and something you may regret for a long time. Unlike the party, this aftermath and fall out from this invitation can take a long time to clear up.

During our time on Earth we are protected to some extent from darker forces. Their unseen activities may frighten us but they are limited in the interaction that can take place, unless we invite them in. This is precisely what we do when we use an Ouija Board. We are foregoing our right to be protected. We are inviting, throwing out an open invitation. If we are lucky our request will be answered by a deceased relative or friend although is just as likely to be a fiend. The difficulty is the untrained psychic may not realise that they are communicating with a lower energy. They are hardly like to come on the board and tell the truth are they? So how do they know so much about us? Because they stand and listen to what you say, then repeat it back to you. For example, if the board spells out nan you will discuss among yourselves who has lost a nan and in doing so you will let out information. The entity will merely read it back to you. The longer you communicate the more energy you are giving to it.

So should you be one of the unlucky ones, which most people are it, may not end there. You have invited them and like many party crashers once here they can wreak havoc while you have little or no means to stop them and they will be very unwilling to go. The doorway is now open and what started in a little harmless fun can last a very long time, especially for the occupants of the house where the ‘game’ occurred. You have given them consent to interact with you and once the board is put away and forgotten the communication goes on and on. From sensations of feeling uncomfortable in a room and feeling frightened as if you are being watched, through to physical attacks. They have Mediums who are experienced in this field and know how to deal with such situations. In the meantime ask your guardian angle to draw close and protect you. Ask that this entity be stopped from reaching you in any manner. They can help you and hold the fort till help arrives.

Learning to communicate properly. Nothing in life comes easy. To gain a skill you have to learn how to do it correctly. Like riding a bike, if you don’t, you are likely to get hurt. Communication with the afterlife is no different. If you are interested seek out a reputable group or development class. Learn how to do it properly. A trained psychic or medium will never use tools such as these boards, firstly because they don’t need to. Secondly they find it harder to protect themselves as the entity is communicating through the planchette rather than the medium. So if you want to learn do it correctly, don’t cut corners. You may find what started out as a night’s entertainment is actually the beginning of a living
