Setting the Receiver

The receiver knows that the dog has crossed the boundary because the signal has become weak. After the alarm has sounded, a mild static correction will be given to your dog. You need to set the correction level depending on your assessment of your dog’s sensitivity. The correction is not there to punish but call your dog’s attention; hence, he needs to be comfortable with it.
