Released in the year 1993, Doom Video games are identified as making the perspective of first person shooter genre in video games widely popular. You can also gather lots of arsenal and weapons which are made available for you such as a shotgun, chain saw, plasma rifle and a rocket launcher.

You start the game with brass knuckles and a pistol and start earning these powerful arsenals as you cross from one level to another. The power ups helps in avoiding the attack of the enemy upon you. It also helps you carry more ammunition, armor, first aid kit etc. There are also some supernatural blue orbs called soul spheres which when earned increase your life from 100% to about 200%.

To start the game you are also given an option to choose amongst the difficulty level. Depending upon the difficulty level you have selected, you have to face the number of monsters that attack you. The monsters attack you in different forms and hurl fireballs at you. The Doom Video game is a great pleasure to play and you can play this all by yourself or with your friends on a network.
