There is no specific treatment option for the condition. Stretch marks materialize and disappear just like they came! The only gripe is the amount of time taken for the disappearance of the marks. These creams are known to contain agents that will inhibit the production of glucocorticoid. When the hormone is not produced on the skin, the elasticity of the skin is regained. And in the process, stretch marks are also eliminated.

Stretch marks can be removed with the aid of surgical procedures. These surgeries are very expensive – bear in mind that they are far from the reach of common people. The surgeon will cover the region with a layer of skin (taken from some other part of the body). Advanced treatment procedures like laser grafting and cryogenic freezing of the skin cells are also widely employed. If you have money to burn, then sky is the limit in the niche of cosmetic surgery.
