Bans Bari Lodge

This lodge is situated right at the gate of Manas National Park. It has tea gardens and offers spectacular views of the Himalayan foothills. It also has about 16 spacious and comfortable rooms. All rooms have attached bathrooms with hot and cold running water.

It also has writing cum dressing table, comfortable twin beds, colored television and cane chairs. The lodge has a welcoming atmosphere which includes a lobby where guests can relax and rest on sofas. The lodge also has a beautiful dining room, weather-resistant chairs and table set outside for breakfast and dinner functions.

Manas Lifestyle Resort

This 5-star resort is situated about 120 kilometers away from Mumbai via the Mumbai-Nashik highway. The resort is also situated 3 kilometers away from Igatpuri. It is segmented with rustic natural landscape that seems to purposely envelope the resort.

This 5-star resort has an on-site restaurant that serves multiple-dishes including Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes. It has 50 rooms categorized into deluxe cottages and standard suites. All rooms have colored television with several cable channels, direct dial telephones and attached bathrooms with hot and cold water. The resort features 3 conference halls, a swimming pool, beauty parlor, Ayurveda massage and sauna as well as a health club with Jacuzzi.

This 4 star hotel is situated about 35 kilometers away from the Nasik Airport and 13 kilometers away from the Nasik Railway Station. The hotel is also situated near several attractions, including the Manas National Park.

Gateway Hotel offers warm hospitality and excellent amenities. It about 75 guestrooms which includes 3 suites. About Manas National Park

This national park set in Assam, India, is known for its endangered and rare wildlife such as the Pygmy Hog, Golden Langur, Hispid Hare and the Assam Roofed Turtle.

Guwahati city is the closest city from this national park. It is only 176 kilometers away.

Fauna in Manas National Park

Manas National Park has recorded about 380 species of birds, 50 species of reptiles, 55 species of mammals and 3 species of amphibians. The fauna of this national park includes the Golden Langurs, Capped Langurs, Asian golden cats, Clouded Leopards and Leopards, Tigers, Barasingha as well as Asian Water Buffalos, Indian Rhinoceros and Asian Elephants.

It also includes the Assamese Macaques, Chital, Sambar Deer and the Hog Deer, Barking Deer along with Sloth Bears, Smooth-coated Otters, Hoolock Gibbons and the Slow Loris.

Flora in Manas National Park

The flora in Manas National Park includes the Syzygium cumini, Anthocephalus chinensis, Aphanamixis polystachya and the Bombax ceiba, Cinnamomum tamala as well as the Terminalia bellirica and the Gmelina arborea. The grasslands along this national park include the Arundo donax, Imperata clylindrica, Phyllanthus emblica and some species of Mussaenda, Premna, Grewia, Leea as well as Clerodendrum.

How to Reach Manas National Park

By plane, the closest airport in this national park is the Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, 70 kilometers away. You could travel by train through the nearest station at Barpeta Road. You could also drive en route to the closest highway called NH 31. This is about 22 kilometers away.
