The GO 930 Traffic is a great unit from TomTom. The effective with a Bluetooth remote control supplied, features voice recognition technology and has an FM transmitter so the audio clear and timely instructions and information, call traffic can be played via the car stereo.

Several instructions are delivered well, and lane guidance for complicated intersections makes the additions easier to navigate. Destinations are precisely identified and a missed turn, will lead to a quick recalculation, even in built-up areas. The screen is a little pensive, but the map is clear, bright and clear. Some of the speed limit information is wrong, but.

The routes between two points, without anywhere along the route will be planned. European and North American maps are preloaded, and much more can be purchased on SD cards. Be stored up to 48 addresses in the address book, but more can be saved as personal points of interest. The unit also alerts the driver when in the vicinity of schools and places of worship, and for one year after the purchase of the equipment, this will be the driver when approaching a speed camera. After a year, this service can be purchased for EUR 19,95 per year.

Basic first-aid information is contained within the device, and the phone sounds a warning if it is left to the car. A Bluetooth connection to a mobile phone provides weather updates.

Traffic alerts are followed by the option to redirect, and though it isn't for use when hiking is that it has a pedestrian mode, designed. It is very easy to install and remove from the windshield mount, and although quite a large device, it is not too complicated.

The first thing you'll notice that very little physically changed. Not that this is a bad thing: it boasts more distinctive and attractive half moon shape, it sports are still the same bright and clear 4.3in screen and other features as well. The construction of a pleasantly warm atmosphere, with a soft-touch plastic rear panel and strong interlocking domed to mount it on the windshield lock. And at the bottom, all the same ports and connections present for the mini-USB port is in the middle (for synchronization and charging the device) is used, and this is a SD card slot for loading music files a 3.5-mm stereo audio out flanked and a socket for the supplied TMC antenna.

Fire it up, and you will find that is the basic appearance of the cards the same, the interface has changed little, and the resolution of the screen are identical. Also a few more modifications have been made to this unit. The Go 930 Traffic will be had by a 400MHz processor and 64MB RAM as Go 720, which is fair enough, there were no problems with the performance of a year ago, and there are not any with this newer model.

What exactly is different this time around? Well, it's the software that major changes were made. The first major upgrade is the addition of the synchronized what IQ Routes, and it represents a fundamental change in approach in the way the sat-nav works, how to you get from A to B.

Previously, TomTom and other SA NAV is calculated on the basis of distance profiles - the fastest, most efficient, shortest - and the available data such as speed limits. Well IQ Routes yield, TomTom claims, further insights into this process, factoring in the average speed of traffic on the roads, so the sat-nav always chooses the fastest and most efficient route. It will take also take into account whether it was a weekday or a weekend.

This is an excellent product and is highly recommended. Sometimes the code is not registered, but you can always look up on Google and find the nearest road. It is accurate, good interface, ability to plan future routes, and easy to find the routes that suit you’re driving style, but has a poor battery life. However, it takes some wrong information about speed limits, and the screen is slightly reflective, but these are minor niggles.

Excellent, easy-to-use but I suggest buying the optional Alternative Mount Kit.
