The nüvi 205WT from Garmin is a medium screen (109mm), but it shows the road clearly a sharp contrast, it is easy to read. It is a device that accurately calculates routes is fast and generally easy to use. It will even accompany you on the right side of the road when you get to your destination.

It is packed with features that occurred more frequently on a basic personal digital assistant as a normal sat nav. Maps of Great Britain and Ireland are preinstalled, but you can add maps and travel guide, even with an SD card.

Audio will be asked to clear without arrogance, and Garmin is finally route indicators - unfortunately they are a little small for our taste. Several instructions are easy to follow, the icons are intuitive and a useful "back" button makes programming easy.

Attaching the device to either the windshield or dashboard is simple, but the FM antenna can be tricky to fix. It was not designed for hiking, but it is a pedestrian mode, and it is not too cumbersome. To deter thieves, it comes with Garmin Lock, Garmin unique anti-theft feature that shuts the unit from performing any functions until a certain 4-digit PIN is entered or the device will have made at a predetermined location.

Speed camera information for a test period of 30 days free, then you can decide to subscribe to the annual cost of € 29.99.

The FM receiver shall obtain precise movement, which then provides you with gps, with an estimated duration of the delay and asked whether an alternative route should be taken. Emergency functions include directions to the nearest hospital, petrol station and police station. You can save 1,000 additional addresses in the device, either in the Favourites or rules, but you cannot program multiple destinations.

We have had reports of some owners, that the traffic information is no longer on this model. We approached this Garmin, and they confirmed nothing has changed.

Subscribe to free market provide the products on their T-range. If the customer has a standard Nuvi (i.e. not the "T" series), then they will be able to purchase a lifetime update () one-time payment. They call for customers to keep their products up to date by updating via "WebUpdater", much like you are running Windows Updates.

Key features include a 4.3-inch widescreen, UK & Ireland maps, traffic alerts for life, Pre-installed safety cameras, anti-theft Garmin Lock, custom POIs, and a battery life of up to 4 hours.

Garmin Nuvi 205WT comes with City Navigator ® NT map data for the neighbouring United States, Canada or any European country or region, click preloaded (Versions tab to all). Simply touch the colour screen to enter a destination, and nüvi takes you with turn-by-turn voice directions, 2-D or 3-D maps and smooth map updates as you navigate. The digital elevation maps show you shaded contours at higher zoom levels, so you a big picture of the surrounding terrain. In addition, nuvi 205WT accepts points of interest (POIs), custom, such as a school zones and safety cameras and lets you get close to warning of POIs. Identify With HotFix ™ satellite prediction, nüvi calculates your position faster on the track.

Like the rest of the nüvi 2x5-series, nuvi 205WT sports a sleek, slim design and fits comfortably in your pocket or handbag. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery makes it convenient for navigation by car or on foot. With its "Where Am I?" Emergency locator, you always know your location. Simply tap the screen to get your exact latitude and longitude coordinates to the nearest address and intersection, and the closest hospitals, police stations and gas stations.

Navigation is just the beginning. Garmin nuvi 205WT includes tools including JPEG picture viewer, world travel clock with time zones, currency converter, measurement, calculator and more. With photo navigation, you can download Google ™ Panoramio pictures via our Garmin Connect Photos website and navigate to them. The 205W is available with MSN ® Direct content and our free Garmin Garage compatible, where you can download animated vehicles that show your location on the map. It also comes with Garmin Lock ™, an anti-theft device. Enhance your travel experience with optional plug-in microSD cards such as Garmin Travel Guides for detailed data on attractions.

Steer clear of traffic with integrated traffic receiver and the Garmin Nuvi 205WT premium lifetime traffic subscription. Receive alerts about traffic delays and road construction that lie ahead on your route. Next simply touch nüvi traffic details or detour around the problem area overlooking basically, this is a good gps unit with a crystal clear display, quick calculation of new, and very versatile. The only disadvantages are that you do not program them to multiple destinations, it has short circuit indicators.
