The Garmin Nuvi 205W is very similar to the Nuvi 205WT, except that they do not have the traffic avoidance feature. But even without traffic avoidance, it is still good enough to be a good investment.

If you already have this model, you can buy it for a one-time payment.
It has a medium screen (109mm), so, but it clearly shows the road with a sharp contrast, it is easy to read. It is a device that accurately calculates routes is fast and generally easy to use. It will even accompany you on the right side of the road when you get to your destination.

It is packed with features that occurred more frequently on a basic personal digital assistant as a normal sat nav. Maps of Great Britain and Ireland are preinstalled, but you can add maps and travel guide, even with an SD card.

The nüvi 205W comes preloaded with City Navigator ® NT map data for the United Kingdom and Ireland. Simply touch the colour screen, enter your destination and nüvi takes you there with turn-by-turn spoken directions, 2-D or 3-D mapping and smooth prices draw card. Digital elevation model maps show shaded contours for an understanding of the surrounding terrain. In addition, nüvi 205W accepts custom points of interest such as traffic hazards and post offices and lets you get close to the warning of POIs. With HotFix satellite prediction, Garmin calculates your position faster to identify the track.

"Where am I?" Gives you information about your location on request. Simply tap the car icon for your exact latitude and longitude coordinates, nearest address, contact details for your vehicle rescue service and the direction of the closest hospital, police or petrol station.

The nüvi 205W advanced Cyclops safety camera database helps you travel with the confidence that you drive safely, responsibly and legally. With knowledge of hundreds of fixed, mobile and temporary safety cameras, variable limit or red light speed cameras across Europe, it sounds an audible alert to give you the heads up. The unit also provided a speed warning and speed limit information. The nüvi 205W also comes with Garmin Lock ™, an inventive anti-theft protection system that uses GPS to a safe place to lock your choice.

The nüvi 205WT model adds lifetime traffic alerts to delay reliable information available and keep aware of traffic jams, accidents and road construction on your route. These alerts are informed by real-time data from reliable sources, including the highways agency, police traffic control centres and more than 8000 traffic flow cameras and sensors on motorways and trunk roads in England, Wales and Scotland. This service must be ensured through a national network of FM transmitters to an excellent reception.

Your traffic is always from a switch. Just strip between the navigation screen and congestion delay information, reassured you will be guided safely to your destination. The nüvi 205WT versatile navigation works with the traffic jams on the alert report and suggest a better route around the delay.

Emergency functions include directions to the nearest hospital, petrol station and police station. You can save 1,000 additional addresses in the device, either in the Favourites or rules, but you cannot program multiple destinations.

Audio will be asked to clear without arrogance, and Garmin is finally route indicators - unfortunately they are a little small for our taste. Several instructions are easy to follow, the icons are intuitive and a useful "back" button makes programming easy.

Attaching the device to either the windshield or dashboard is simple. It was not designed for hiking, but it is a pedestrian mode, and it is not too cumbersome. To deter thieves, it comes with Garmin Lock, Garmin unique anti-theft feature that shuts the unit from performing any functions until a certain 4-digit PIN is entered or the device will have made at a predetermined location.

Speed camera information for a test period of 30 days free, then you can decide to subscribe to the annual cost of € 29.99.

The clear display, the ability to quickly recalculate a round, and versatility make this a good product. His only weakness is that you do not program multiple destinations, and there is little distance indicators, but these are almost insignificant issues.
