Another is when you use an elevated collar which covers the rim of the diamond in complete metal edges. This is the most secure type of diamond bezel setting. Another is flush setting wherein the stone is placed into the opening and fixed at the bottom of the stone and the top of the diamond protrudes just above the base.

Bezel setting for diamonds can be used in watches, rings, bands and even necklaces and other jewelry pieces. Diamond bezel setting have a lot of advantages not only does it secure your precious diamonds in place. It gives your jewelry pieces a more elegant and new modern look. Another advantage is that your diamonds are protected from hard friction and blows from outside forces that can damage your diamonds and can loosen them in place making them more prone to dislodge and you have a missing diamond piece in your jewelry which is not really good to look at.
