Throughout the state of Oregon a scenery is found that is so diverse that one trip to the state is hardly enough to truly know what there is to experience. Many people come to visit the state for just that reason but spectacular scenery isn't all that the state has to offer. Here you can find an exciting nightlife, explore the state's rich history, and enjoy some of the best in outdoor activities. An extensive variety of cultural activities can be found throughout the state as well as a long list of exciting attractions and adventures suitable for the whole family. So whether your looking for the perfect family destination for your vacation or the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or even just somewhere to get together with old friends, Oregon is the perfect place to go.

Cultural activities and historical landmarks are all over throughout the state of Oregon. The state hosts a number of cultural festivities throughout the year and include such exciting events as the Birding Blues Festival, the Portland Jazz Festival, the Annual Art, Seafood, and Wine Festival, and the Annual Yachats Celtic Music Festival. Museum goers will love Oregon as well as there are a number of unique museums throughout the state that can be visited. For the history buffs who vacation in Oregon there is much to offer as well. In Albany visitors have the opportunity to explore four individual historic districts. The Aurora Colony National Historic District offers visitors a unique experience with over thirty-five preserved structures from the mid-nineteenth century. Throughout much of Oregon visitors will find a sense of nostalgia that rivals that of any state.

The great outdoors is even greater in Oregon. Here you will find amazing scenery that is so diverse and fantastic that it will be hard to believe your in the same state from one place to the next. Oregon has to offer the outdoor adventurer a beautiful coastline with plenty of sun for soaking or powdery mountains perfect for skiing. For the hiker or the biker there are more than 200 state parks to be enjoy, some offering unique camping experiences that will put you and your family or friends back in touch with nature. Oregon is also known for its world class golfing. From Agate Beach Golf Course to Willow Creek Country Club, you are sure to find the golf setting that is perfect for you. The really adventurous have the opportunity to experience a number of exciting outdoor activities as well. Here you will find the perfect conditions in various parts of the state for whitewater rafting, rock climbing, and surfing. Fishing in Oregon is something to talk about too. The state is known for its trout, steelhead, and salmon fishing and you can even go on a deep-sea search for cod or a number of other ocean varieties. Anywhere you decide to go in the state of Oregon you are sure to find the perfect outdoor adventure for you and your family.
