With upgrading your communications to a Blackberry smartphone service, you avoid all of the pitfalls of business in the new technological climate. It will bring your business to new levels of productivity, operational efficiency and customer service. There are basically four types of Blackberry service plans. Each geared to help your business be efficient and cost effective. By using one of these services, you can guarantee the present and future success of your business.

Type 1 –Basic Blackberry Internet Services
This service is geared toward a small (up to 6 people) business, with a small customer and employee list. It is a basic internet smartphone service. It allows you and your employees to create a free internet e-mail account and link it to an existing MSN Hotmail, AOL, IMAP, and POP#/ISP account. By installing the Blackberry Redirector, you get access to ‘push’ delivery of emails, and mobile access to attachments as long as your home office PC is turned on. This system runs on Microsoft Exchange.

Type 2 – Blackberry Enterprise Solutions
This program is for medium (6-10 people) sized businesses. Along with the above mentioned attributes it allows for each employee to increase productivity by accessing emails, calendars, contacts, and your business’s computer applications all on their phone. It also allows for a centralized control station for each employee’s smartphone, which allows for easy management and individual access settings. With Blackberry Enterprise Solutions, you also have access to Blackberry IT administrators which means that anyone on the system will have access to Blackberry assistance and technical support.

Type 3 – Blackberry Internet Services 2.4
This service is for larger sales centered businesses (up to 30 people) along with everything mentioned above, it has an automatic log-in service. Just type in your email address and password, it works in conjunction with Yahoo and Gmail which allows for real time synchronization of messages. This service will also allow for real time and multi functioning opening of contact attachments, and uploading to your contacts list making it easy to keep your contacts list up to date. Also, it includes auto forwarding of emails, meaning if you send a client a message, that message will be copied and forwarded to a third party, saving you time and money if you are not very good at paperwork. Viewing of jpegs, tiffs, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint presentations are viewed in an easy to manage slideshow format.

Type 4 – The Blackberry Enterprise Server
This is the grand dame of business smartphone services. If your business is large with many employees inputting and accessing the central computer, this service is for you. Along with the above mentioned, it allows for access to corporate data, easy encryption, and allows the administrators to work from one station to individually manage their smartphone employees. It will work with your company’s information system, and works directly with data stores and enterprise applications allowing for your employees to forward the company’s corporate or sales information wirelessly. It also has wireless calendar synchronization of tasks and contacts. It has a strong security program, allowing your business to securely push your corporate applications and data (a true time saver). This service will also allow for IT administrators to assign specific roles to administrators, greatly increasing your business’ bottom line.

With a new Blackberry smartphone service your company can go from the 20th to the 21st century. In this new century, a company’s survival will depend on how fast it can acclimate to the changing technological climate. Help yours survive, you’ll thank me.
