When having a private party there are a few tricks to abide by to ensuring it’s always what it was meant to be, a party. Why is it when you go to a friend’s house more often then not you'll find maybe 20 people and no one knows each other? The party s done by eleven and more so then not you end up going home feeling as if your Friday night was stolen from you. Having a great party is as easy as making scrambled eggs. When you have these tips you'll be sure to be partying until the early hours of the morning.

Name the party

Naming the party is no more then informing people of your intentions? You may find that you enjoy having pre-drinks at home before you go out or if you having good weather - inviting friends over for a barbecue by the pool. This will allow for people to dress accordingly.

Setting the mood

Once you have named the party set the mood. It’s important for the host to strictly control the music as this will make or break your party. Go for the more upbeat tunes as the party begins level it out with more oldies filtering in as the night progress. Try ensuring the music is always in the background and people and people don't have to scream talk to each other. Have a fire burning the whole night if possible to ensure the atmosphere is always relaxed and people have a neutral place with were to meet.

Economize

Holding a party these days cost money. Getting people to bring food and alcohol helps with your own budget. If every male friend brings one case of beer or a bottle of hard liquor this will ensure a constant supply of drinks for your guests. Thus enabling you to purchases refreshments such as cool drinks and chips.

Be Rambo

Seeing as it is your house it’s up to you to make sure the party is a success. Thus set the mood by welcoming all guests, offering drinks and introducing people to each other. It’s not a science but should be treated as one. When holding a party invite thirty guys and ensure they all bring one date along. They don't have to be dating but if there’s 30 men and 30 women people will feel more at ease and relax sooner. It’s up to you getting people talking so be Rambo and take chances.

Go Crazy

Your house. Your rules. This doesn't mean in order to have fun you must trash your fathers garden it just means be creative. If you’re having a pool party and drinks on the table and when they are all done let the people know the rest of the drinks are in the pool with a catch. You may only have a drink if you get it yourself. This will get people in the pool and enjoy have them enjoying themselves more.

Just ensure when having a house party you and your friends take turns in terms of who is the designated authority at the party and that all precautions have been taken to ensure a successful evening.
