Dedicated web hosting service is different from shared web hosting service. This enables customers to lease a total server. The customer or company has the full permission to access the server, to control it and edit the website. However, the maintenance is upon clients. Dedicated web hosting does depend on the clients if they would need more freedom and control over server. The server hardware is also owned by host.

Dedicated web hosting has many advantages. It offers best secured environment, top speed connection, reliable infrastructure and customized service. It offers the most needed application which cannot be fulfilled by shared web hosting service. Dedicated web hosting also offers greater stability. It also ensures good speed which enables quick loading pages. But it has some disadvantages, too. The main problem is cost. Dedicated is a high expensive hosting service. So it is very much hard to afford dedicated service for personal and small business owners. Moreover, inexperienced management cannot run a dedicated web hosting company as it is pretty much difficult to install and update necessary software. Though it is hard to measure the better web hosting service, clients should choose between these web hosting companies according to their needs.
