The Chase Flexible Rewards Visa is designed with the cardholder who has very good credit and goals of using the reward program in mind. With this card, cardholders earn one point for every dollar they spend making general purchases. The points are redeemable for airline tickets, hotels, car rentals, and much more. There is a maximum of 60,000 points that can be earned annually, and they expire in five years.

The Chase Flexible Rewards Card has no annual fee and has a fairly low interest rate for a rewards card that is based on the cardholder’s credit history. An introductory rate of 0% for one year for both purchases and balance transfers is followed by a variable interest rate that starts at 5.99% and goes as high as 14.99% plus prime rate. The rate for cash advances is a variable rate that averages 23.99%. Finance charges on this card are based on a two-cycle average daily balance method instead of the customary single cycle average daily balance used by most card issuers. Cash advances are assessed a 3% fee with a minimum of $10, and balance transfers a 3% fee with a minimum of $5 and a maximum of $75.

This card is most attractive for those who qualify for the lowest rate and plan to pay their balances in full each billing cycle after the introductory rate expires and plan to take advantage of the many rewards that the Flexible Rewards card has to offer.

Some of the benefits cardholders can expect to receive with this card include the following:

• Online access to account information
• Reporting of lost and stolen cards
• Emergency cash and card replacement
• No liability to the cardholder for unauthorized transactions
• Protection and extended warranties for your purchases
• Insurance on car rentals
• Travel accident insurance up to $1,000,000
• Financial statement at year’s end if requested
• Emergency assistance and travel-related services
• Guaranteed parking at the airport
• Personal concierge service
• Lost luggage insurance up to $3,000
• Roadside assistance
