The nicotine patch is another stop smoking aid based on the NRT (nicotine replacement therapy). The patches are usually transparent and invisible if put under clothes. They should be placed over clean skin anywhere between your neck and waist.

Laser Stop Smoking Aids

Laser therapies are also a well-known and successful way to quit smoking. The therapy employs ancient Chinese acupuncture techniques – specific points of your body are stimulated with low-level (also called cold) lasers. This results in increased endorphin production thus reduced cravings and post-smoking symptoms. Laser treatments give very good results especially when combined with a correct behavior therapy.

Alternative Stop Smoking Aids

Many people are reluctant to use any form of chemical substances to help them quit smoking. There are also people whose medical condition does not allow the use of nicotine replacement products (people with heart problems, diabetes, stomach problems, pregnant or breast-feeding women, etc). The good news is that there is a stop smoking aid for those people as well. Many herbal products available will reduce the cigarette cravings and help you quit smoking. Many people prefer acupuncture than laser therapy as well.

Quit smoking herbal products have the benefit of solving a smoker’s problems by making use of natural elements. In order to achieve the best results it is better if these methods are used together, or at least two of them. By combining them, smokers will easily find a way to get rid of their unhealthy habit and to recover fast from the troublesome period that follows.

Deciding to give up smoking is not so difficult. The problems appear after the last cigarette. That is why the nicotine that your body needs has to be replaced by some herbs that present the advantage of not causing addiction like other unnatural methods.
