Even if your solution says you don’t need to rub your lenses, it is a good idea to do it anyway, to ensure that you get rid of not only bacteria, but also any debris that might be on your lens. Use fresh solution every time you take out your lenses, and keep your lens case clean.

Wear your contacts as recommended by your doctor. Don’t exceed the time they are meant to be worn, and don’t wear them when you sleep. Get regular eye exams and have your contact lenses fitted professionally. If you experience problems like redness, excessive tearing, or blurriness, don’t just think it will go away. Have your eyes checked as soon as possible. Infections caught early can be treated much more easily and effectively. With a little attention, it is not hard to keep contact lenses in good shape.
