Honestly, if you asked me to tell you a few things about San Antonio I really wouldn’t know where to start from! San Antonio is the crossroad of countless nations, cultures and traditions. This beautiful, unique city carries the flavor and sounds of Native Americans, the aggressive and lonely spirit of Wild West as well as the beautiful and creative culture of African Americans. In fact, the city has had such a polyphonic history that if I keep telling you about all of its influences you will barely have any time to read about the actual city!

The first thing that you need to have in mind about San Antonio is that no matter how long you plan to stay in it, you will never get bored; seriously, if you have the chance to prolong your stay there for a few more days then definitely go for it!

The very first place that you should visit while exploring San Antonio is the Riverwalk area. This is probably the most popular activity for the majority of the 20+ million visitors that San Antonio hosts every year. Depending on the time that you will visit the Riverwalk area you will either enjoy a quiet morning stroll or you will be lost inside the colorful bazaar of people during the late evening hours.

Of course, being such a historical city that San Antonio is, it wouldn’t be possible for you not to pay a visit to the local museums and the various historical sites. Then again, if history doesn’t fascinate you that much you can always visit places such as the Central Public Library or the San Antonio Zoo.

Finally, when the time to taste some of San Antonio’s night life has come, you’d better hold off lots of energy for your nighttime exodus! As soon as the beautiful sunset of San Antonio is gone, the city changes its face completely; it’s like a unified celebration of people where everybody goes out to have a good time!
