We are all created equal in many aspects of our lives. But as we grow up, doesn't it seem that some people are just born under a "lucky" star or somehow manage to always be in the right place at the right time? I mean, doesn't it seem as though some people just "fall into" opportunities and always come out smelling like a rose?

We see sports jocks or movie stars who land million-dollar contracts and we wish we could do the same thing.

Well, the best part of coming into this world is that no matter where we live, no matter what kind of job you have, no matter where you grew up, we ALL have this secret talent. It's so secret, many don't even know they possess it. Let's discover where this talent comes from and how it's developed.

Not everyone remembers alot about what happened before we were five years old (yes, some do but not everyone). But at about that age we start socializing with people outside of our families. This socializing and interaction is what begins the process of this secret talent.

Remember back when you watched the Saturday morning cartoons? (I'm talking about the funny cartoons they used to have on TV) During the commercials you'd see cool stuff that you just had to have. So who did you tell? Mom & Dad, of course. Didn't you tell them over and over and over how your life would be so great if you could have that cool stuff? Did you promise to keep your room clean for a year if they'd just get you that cool stuff? Sometimes it worked, most times it didn't. But, you see, this is where you began to develop your secret talent.

I suppose by now you're wondering what the heck this secret talent is. Well, if you look closely to what you just read you will see that we have ALL been recommending and referring things to our family and our friends most of our lives. Even now, although you may not still be bugging your parents to get you that cool stuff you see on Saturday morning TV (well, maybe some of you are [grin]), you are now telling everyone about that great new restaurant that just opened up or the last flick you watched.

You might have visited your in-laws over the weekend and Dad-in-law cooked up some awesome pork on the BBQ, using this wonderful sauce that you just had to tell your neighbor about, since she's a BBQer too.

Do you see what's happening? You have shared a product or service that occurred in your life. This is your secret talent. The more you share with others about products, services or events, the better you get at it. In fact, you probably do it every day and don't even realize it.

What's even more incredible is that you don't even realize you could get paid for doing this. Yes - get paid for this secret talent.

Okay, imagine this. After you told your neighbor about that wonderful sauce, she went to the store and purchased some. When she went to the grocery store and bought the sauce, do you think she told the clerk that you sent her there to get that sauce? NO. Would you like to find out how you could get paid for doing what you do every day?

There are people who know how to use their secret talent and get paid for it. In fact, some have been doing it for many years. In fact, there are people all over the world who are recommending products and services from shampoo to supplements, from web hosting to software. These people have told others about their purchases and at the end of the month they got a referral check.

My Dad-in-law retired after working hard for 25+ years. He learned about his secret talent through an acquaintance who told him he had a choice when it comes to using his secret talent. He could get paid for it. He thought that was a great option and in less than a year he was able to match his former salary. Why? Because he decided to use his secret talent and get paid instead of not getting paid.
