The only true downfall for the international schools is the expense of sending a child. There is a lot more in the way of fees that are involved plus the cost of living abroad is very expensive. This does have a tendency to limit the number of children who can attend these schools.

There are however a lot of scholarships available for such schools that the number is growing every year. The main focus of these scholarships is to give the children the chance to study abroad and widen their horizons at the same time.
