When you are shopping for a new refrigerator, you want to take a look at all of your options before making a purchase, because it is something that requires a lot of thought and a lot of research. There are three things that you want to consider before choosing a refrigerator, and once you know these three things, you can start your research.

1. Amount of space available – Some refrigerators are going to be taller and wider than others, so you want to figure out how much space you have available for your new refrigerator.

2. Money you are willing to spend – Of course, you have to figure out how much money you have to spend on your refrigerator. This will help you to decide which model to buy since some models cost more than others.

3. Needs of your family – Do you have a large or a small family? This will help you to decide what size refrigerator that you are going to need.

Now that we know what kind of things to consider when you are buying a refrigerator, let’s take a look at the different types of refrigerators that are available on the market, and you will get an idea of what type of refrigerator is right for you. This information is based on KitchenAid refrigerators, but is pretty standard for all refrigerators.

Side by side

With this type of refrigerator, the freezer is on the left and the refrigerator is on the right. These models are taller than most other refrigerators and require more space than the usual top and bottom refrigerator models because both doors have to open. This is a good choice if you have a lot of room in your house, but you should also know that there isn’t a lot of room in the freezer side for things that are big and bulky.

Freezer on top

This is the most common type of refrigerator, and the one that you will see in a lot of houses. A lot of people like them because they like to be able to easily see what is in their freezer. They can offer a lot of options, and they are more versatile than the side by side freezers with regards to the amount of space that you need.

Freezer on bottom

This is the opposite of the freezer on top, and for the same reasons that people like the freezer on top people like the freezer on bottom. Two of the nice features are that there is easy and quick access to things in the refrigerator part, instead of having to stoop down, and some people feel safer with the freezer on bottom because they don’t have to worry about something heavy falling on their head, like a turkey.

It all comes down to personal choice when you are choosing the refrigerator that is right for you. You have to think about your budget, your family’s needs, and the amount of space that you want. This will help you to choose a model that is right for you.
