In Pennsylvania, USA, established there during 1732, is Independence Hall which used to be the prime building of that time. Most significant were lawyers like Andrew Hamilton who planned and materialized this building and defended the freedom of Press (a historic one). One of the best and big parks of the state, Raccoon Creek State Park is the most beautiful State Parks. This Park has 7323 acres of Greenland with 101 acres of Raccoon Lake. Many recreational activities are available here. Natural beauty is in abundance at Pine grove Furnace State Park. It used to be an Iron Furnace in 1764 and all ancient houses of its staff are still there. A self-guided trail takes you through the left over of the mill.

Oil Creek state Park consists of raw natural beauty of rugged and steep hills, deep hollows and excellent Oil Gorges with a variety of animals and plants. Some left over of Oil boom era of 1860s is still there. You can rent a bicycle and go on its number of trails going through the site that is rich in scenic beauty and historically too.

Cherry Springs State park is as wild and remote as it used to be a century ago. It has the best scenic beauty of Pennsylvania and is a paradise for people who love spending their vacations in nature's lap. It opens from 2nd Friday of April to deer season in December.

Promised Land State Park is popular in all seasons for tourists. Historically it contains the work of Civilian Conservation Corps done in 1930. It has wildlife and various hiking trails. It has many natural and stunning spots for viewing. When you go on a hike, you inform the office about the route and the time of your return.

Snuggled in the mountains of Huntingdon county is Greenwood Furnace State Park. It is a forest area, which provides its hikers with enchanting views and access to virgin timber. You also have the right to stay overnight in the forest area. Many trails are there at Neshaminy State Park giving a spectacular look of Delaware as it flows along the park.

Pymatuning State Park has a large lake presenting breath-taking view of sunset during springs with sunshine gliding on the lake, making sailboats look alike passing through Lake of Gold. Restricted hunting is granted in waterfowl season in wild areas. Thousands of Canadian Geese come here in waterfowl season and shooting them is allowed.

Maurice K. Goddard State Park is scattered in 1860 acre Lake Wilhelm having abundance of fish, heaven for anglers. The whole park is open for trapping, training and hunting of dogs from a day after Labor Day to 31 March. The most excited park is Lackawanna State Park. It provides all amenities for its visitors.

Warriers Path State Park has formed due to presence of water in this area. It also plays host to hunting activities and shooting ducks. Common facilities are provided according to local Laws. The clear waters of Lake at Little Buffalo State Park just attract the people since centuries. Farmers used to collect here when they had harvested their crops, these days people gather for hunting, fishing or have a ball of time.
